Our entire menu is 100% vegan and gluten-free. We’re excited to share the potential of plant-based options that don’t compromise taste or variety. We offer a range of mouth-watering creations, oozing with flavour, and satisfying all of your cravings.

About Us

The idea for the Burger Tree concept came during the early days of the 2020 health crisis and lock downs. For various reason, even more people were suddenly wanting even more food choices that were free from animal products. And people needed more take-out and delivery options, too. Burger Tree was the perfect solution. It would offer a menu that's delivery and take-out friendly, entirely plant-based, loaded with variety, oozing with flavor, uses only quality ingredients, doesn't deep-fry a thing, and yet is designed with comfort in mind.

Concept creators Avi Katz and his twin sister Adina (AKA Dini), who are both somewhat obsessive animal lovers, went to work with his amazing team to build just such a menu. Together, the twins spent countless hours concocting an awesome list of shakes, which all include premium non-dairy ice cream. They didn't have to work as hard to come up with Dini's Salad; it's the very same salad & dressing she's been making for their family's Friday night dinners for years! (There's a reason why they keep asking her to make it!) Enthusiastic kitchen staff brainstormed on original burger flavours, creative sides, and delicious sauces. The final product is a menu that will keep even the most regular of regulars interested, and coming back to mix and match the virtually limitless combinations!

At Burger Tree, we believe in having more than one menu option for those who eat plant-based or gluten-free. Sure, we’re a burger joint, but we pride ourselves in cooking up a variety of delicious, alternative options.

We share a space and facility with
Kupfert & Kim, another vegan and gluten-free restaurant, in the heart of Midtown, Toronto. We offer a Build-Your-Own Salad/Bowl option, courtesy of Kupfert & Kim, as we love their food, and think you will too. We really do have something delicious for everyone!

Our facility is entirely plant-based and gluten-free, meaning there is no cross-contamination from any animal-based or gluten-based products in our kitchen. That’s right - our deep fryer is chicken- and gluten-free.

The Burger Tree concept came to life during the early days of the 2020 lockdown, when staying at home led to supporting local restaurants and ordering more takeout. However, the options for takeout and delivery quickly turned boring. Many restaurants offered a vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free dish, but there was little variety, and most required further modifications. The idea sparked for an entirely plant-based, gluten-free restaurant, and the Burger Tree solution was developed.

Concept creators Avi Katz and his twin sister Adina, who are both crazy animal lovers and plant-based eaters, began to compose a menu. Countless hours were spent narrowing down ideas and choosing the perfect selection of mouth-watering comfort foods. An enthusiastic team helped brainstorm and test original burger styles, creative sides, and delicious sauces. The result: a menu developed with comfort and care in mind, oozing with flavour, and filled with enough variety to bring you back again and again!

We’re so excited to bring these delicious menu items to the neighbourhood, and hope you enjoy eating them as much as we enjoy creating and serving them.
